SEN Teaching Assistant

Full time: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Reed are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic Primary Academy in Newcastle. In partnership with the school, we seek to find a Teaching Assistant to work with children with SEND in EYFS.

We are looking for a Level 2/3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistant

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

- Help children access learning materials by tapping into their interests

- Support them with a sensory approach to some learning activities

- Seek to deescalate any crisis moments through understanding triggers, using a nurture-based approach

- Build a positive and empathetic relationship, supporting them to build these with their peers.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is to start in September.

The hours are full-time, and you will be paid on a weekly basis by Reed Education.

The role requires an enhanced DBS on the update service.

Our pay rates are between £85 and £90 per day.
