My client based in Hertford is looking to recruit a Level 1 Engineer to join their IT Team. You would be responsible for the initial support and incident classification. This is an internal customer-facing role within the IT Services Team

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Provide initial support and incident classification
• Actively respond to problems, incidents and requests
• Providing fault diagnosis and treatment to address problems
• Interaction with other teams
• Produce workable solutions

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 10)
• Microsoft Outlook / Exchange
• Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016, Office 365
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Basic understanding in Routing and Switching protocols
• Software and hardware troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written form at all levels
