JOB TITLE: BI-LINGUAL LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR

(Gujarati, Punjabi or Hindi or Czech language)

SALARY: £17,000 - £17,500 with sales experience + OTE

SALARY: £19,000 - £20,000 basic + OTE (£4.5 - £6K per annum) with Lettings Experience

£25 for each property that they let (manage approx. 150 properties and there are approx. 80 - 90 lettings a year). Also, pay £25 for each new property that they bring in. Can earn approx. £2,000 - £2500 per year additional.

LOCATION: Leicester

HOURS: 9 am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday and

alternate Saturday 10 am - 1 pm

A company is based in Leicester and is looking for a Lettings Negotiator with experience or a candidate with excellent sales experience to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is thriving in the current climate and be a part of their success.

My client is looking for a candidate who possesses excellent sales skills and is willing to learn, the Lettings experience is not essential as training will be provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful Lettings Negotiator will be tasked with the following:

  • Liaising with the tenants and landlords
  • Attending to phone calls/enquiries about properties.
  • Managing the progression of files from start to finish and ensuring that they are ready in the timescales that our customers require
  • Show tenants around properties - conduct viewing
  • Extensive liaison with tenants, landlords and internal staff
  • Carrying out valuations
  • Property inspections and follow up reports
  • Dealing with contractors
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Preparation of tenancy contracts
  • Liaising with tenants for tenancy issues and prepare landlord statements
  • Arranging house clearance and/or lock changes if required
  • Registering applicants
  • Preparing inventories
  • Uploading/updating properties to the website
  • Dealing with daily correspondence, emails, telephone and personal callers
  • Filling in and processing application forms with tenants and other associated paperwork
  • Ensuring gas safety certificates and other legal requirements for properties are completed
  • Chasing rent and other breaches of obligations with tenants
  • Banking and post
  • Dealing with accounts and bill payments
  • Filing - completing any associated administration work
  • You will also be required to handle residential sales from time to time. Full training will be given

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Clean driving Licence is essential
  • Languages - Gujarati, Punjabi or Hindi or Czech language
  • Excellent sales skills - the successful candidate will be trained on lettings
  • Responsible, a self-starter and dedicated
  • Looking for someone who is meticulous and pays attention to detail
  • Ability to compose own letters
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be extremely presentable.
  • Highly organised
  • An energetic, fast learning, 'can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload.
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Adaptable and flexible
