My client is a well established, profitable and highly thought of estate agent. Based in Reading they are now looking for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their expanding and successful friendly team.
The successful applicants tasks will be as follows:- General Administration to do with the following areas of work relating to Property Letting & Management and, specifically, negotiation of Lettings (this should not be considered the full list) :-
Administration of applicants registering on the telephone, by email, via the Internet or face-to-face in the office Arranging of appointments to view properties with interested parties, ensuring suitability of the property and access, and taking diary requirements into consideration Attendance at viewings, showing the property with care and awareness of personal safety and suitable security for the property and any belongings of current occupiers.
Making the Clients aware of feedback and interest shown in their property; making suggestions of improvements & rent levels in order to assist the letting Negotiation of letting proposals and agreeing terms between the parties, confirming the terms to the team Administrator for the documents/file to be drawn up and concluded.
Arranging of advertising of the available property portfolio via the internet, newspapers, front window display and advertising boards Being of general assistance to the other team members in respect of paperwork, collections/deliveries out of the office as required Answering and making of telephone calls relating to Property Letting & Management Time dependant on experience, training and knowledge promoting the Agency services to potential Landlords; meeting to provide an opinion on rent value.
Answering general enquiries made via the Internet, and email General 'office’ duties - such as banking, post, locking up procedures, answering of general post, filing, assistance with advertising & arranging viewings as required. Being available to carry out any reasonable job requested of you by your Manager.
