Lettings Business Development Manager

Our client manages the property portfolios of over one hundred private clients from across the world and provide home-search services to executive tenants and buyers in Belgravia, Chelsea, Hyde Park, Mayfair, Marylebone & Knightsbridge. They are currently recruiting for a Lettings Business Development Manager to join the lettings team.

As part of the property lettings team the role of lettings business development manager includes:

  • Generating new landlord leads by prospecting and marketing activities, strategic alliances, networking, direct mail and door knocking
  • Valuing properties
  • Negotiating offers with landlords
  • Feedback to landlords both from viewings and future strategy
  • Being held accountable to the CEO for key performance indicators and goal setting on a weekly basis
  • Holding team accountable to numbers and standards
  • Occasionally dealing with telephone and email enquiries from prospective tenants promptly
  • Occasionally qualifying potential tenants by identifying their needs and matching them to suitable properties
  • Prospecting for, presenting to and following up with landlords
  • Monitor and be a proactive player in the tenancy process
  • Co-ordinating move-ins with the team
  • Keeping up to date with market conditions and reading latest market reports and writing blogs and video market updates
  • Continuously monitor new stock in the area

For this role you need the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior lettings role/Managing lettings team

  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets

  • A passion for people and a positive attitude

  • The ability to negotiate

  • Sound business ethics

  • Courageous, determined, focused and be a self-starter

  • The ability to build and nurture trusted relationships at all levels

  • Fluent English Speaker
