Lettings Administrator / Negotiator required for a very well established and respected independent Sales & Lettings Estate Agency in Totnes. Our client operates at the middle to higher end of the market with offices across the South West. You must be well presented, hard working and posses excellent customer service standards.
Whilst learning from your colleagues other administrative tasks include:
• Handling tenant applications
• Creating marketing materials
• Daily liaison with tenants, landlords and contractors; dealing with questions, queries and updates
• Undertaking credit references and general reference checks.
On a daily basis the lettings negotiator’s primary task is to accompany viewings and manage the negotiations between the tenant and landlord. This would mean ensuring that owners achieve the rental income they desire from tenants while meeting the tenant’s expectations around budget and location in a professional manner.
Ideally you will have 6 - 12 months experience in a similar environment, but my client will potentially look outside of the industry if you are in another administration role.
