I am working with a niche Business, who pride themselves on quality, service and development. Due to an internal promotion, I am seeking an experience Lending Manager to support in a regional, field based role. You will cover M5 borders, with you Head Office based in Birmingham, so some travel to site is expected. We are looking for a client facing manager, to take ownership of their portfolio, dealing with lending from £50,000 - £5m. Supported by your manager, there is no limit on the sixe of your portfolio, to further develop potential lending opportunities, but also to ensure efficiency and compliance.
In this diverse role you will be sourcing and progressing commercial mortgage applications to completion, you’ll manage all aspects of the process, from delivering quality determinations of credit risk to maximise return, completing extensive due diligence and developing excellent broker and borrower relationships that enable on-going new business.
Managing relationships from key accounts, you’ll also be supported throughout by support staff, legal advisors and chartered surveyors to ensure the drawdown process is as efficient as possible. You’ll also represent the business within the business community and at exhibitions and events, get involved with new product proposals and be keen to keep your mortgage market knowledge up to date.
