Eventus Legal are seeking a Legal Secretary with experience in Corporate/Commercial law to join a successful team based in Huddersfield. This is a permanent, full-time role.  

Role responsibilities

The incoming Legal Secretary will be supporting the Corporate and Commercial team with a variety of matters, including but not limited to;

  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence and court forms by audio and copy typing (digital dictation) for all corporate, commercial and employment matters
  • Photocopying, filing, scanning and other administrative duties
  • First point of contact for the department on both the telephone and face-to-face, so excellent client facing skills are required
  • Supporting the team with time recording and billing

Person specification

Applications are sought from experienced Legal Secretaries with experience within corporate, commercial and employment matters. Those with experience of corporate matters in particular will be prioritised. Prior experience is essential for this role. 


You will be joining an incredibly supportive and successful firm located in modern offices in Huddersfield, close to the town centre and all transport links. The firm operates as a close-knit team and are highly regarded in the local legal market.
