A long established firm of Solicitors based in Basingstoke are currently looking to recruit a Legal Secretary/Conveyancing Assistant to work within the large Residential Property department. As a Legal Secretary/Assistant you will be responsible for providing supporting to a team of fee earners dealing with new instruction on receipt and working on those transaction through pre and post completion.
As a Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant with the Residential Property department you will be responsible for the preparation of contracts and supporting documents, registering applications on the land registry, title checking, registering applications on companies house, speaking to clients over the phone and in person as well as issuing contracts and exchanges as well as audio typing. To be considered, this busy Property department are looking for a candidate who has experience of working within a Residential property team as a Legal Secretary/Assistant experience of dealing with worth property transactions, good communication skills at all levels, team worker and the ability to work well under pressure.
