The firm are looking for a secretary to join their Conveyancing Department on a full time, permanent basis. The role will involve working one on one with a Conveying Fee Earner to help support their mix workload of Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, it will require someone who can work well under pressure, has excellent attention to detail and a professional approach to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
*You will be providing comprehensive one to one support to a Conveyancing Fee Earner dealing with mainly residential matters with a small amount of commercial.
*Working with a range of Conveyancing matters including Land Registry searches, SDLT, pre and post completion matters
*Document production and proofreading, day-to-day diary management and other general administrative duties including typing, filing and faxing.
*Liaising with clients in person and over the phone
*Minimum 3 years' Legal Secretarial experience within Conveyancing
*A good working knowledge of the Conveyancing process and forms
*Good knowledge of Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, Outlook
*Fast and accurate typing skills and speed
