Our Client is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team, based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to develop their career in a growing firm with genuine long term opportunities for development.

Client Details

Our client is a well established law firm with several offices across the country. This role is based in their York office


Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Legal Secretary :

  • Digital dictation - letters, bills, instructions to Counsel, court forms, applications and reports
  • Diary management - organising meetings, arranging appointments with medical experts and booking Counsel
  • Admin - file opening, file closing and filing
  • General PA/Secretarial duties as required


The Successful candidate:

  • Must have some background as a legal secretary
  • Must have fantastic communication
  • Must have an adaptable approach, with the mentality to deliver a high quality of service to internal and external clients
  • Around 70 wpm typing speed, with high degree of accuracy
  • Ideally RSA II in typing, audio typing or word processing
  • Must have proficiency within the MS Office Suite
  • Must have a strong work ethic
