Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary to support a senior fee earner and a Partner in its Winchester offices, in both Dispute Resolution and Agricultural Property.
This is a challenging role and, as such, would suit a Legal Secretary with some years' experience. Duties will include providing secretarial support to both fee earners; opening and closing case files, drafting contracts and carrying out property searches; liaising with clients via phone and email; audio typing.
It goes without saying that superb attention to detail is required, and experience in Property law in particular is essential, with knowledge of SDLT, Land Registry and transfers. Experience of Dispute Resolution and Agricultural Property is also desirable, although not essential.
The ideal candidate will also be IT literate (Outlook, Word, Excel), a natural administrator, with excellent communication skills.
