UP TO £21,000

My client are recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Dispute Resolution team. Based in Canterbury, you will have previous experience of:

  • Electronic diary management, booking rooms and arranging meetings
  • Using digital transcription system, Bighand, to create letters, emails and documents
  • Using a case management system for client files
  • Scanning in and time recording of incoming post and emails
  • Maintaining orderly files - keeping filing up to date
  • Prepare Court/Counsel bundles as required
  • Photocopying of documents
  • Handling incoming telephone calls in an efficient and courteous manner, dealing with queries where possible and passing on in a timely manner

Experience required:

  • An experienced Legal Secretary
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be useful but not essential
  • Friendly but efficient telephone manner
  • Fast accurate typing (60+ words) with attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible attitude
