The Role

The Legal secretary would an integral part of the firm within the Employment department, providing all administrative support for the fee earners and partners in the Oxford office, all client relationship and business development coordination and much more.

General responsibilities of the Legal Secretary would include:

  • Diary and Travel Management
  • Billing Administration
  • Financial Management
  • Client Relationship and BD Coordination
  • Document Production
  • General Administration
  • Call Handling
  • Prioritisation and Streamlining of Partners work
  • Various ad hoc administration

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in Employment law at partner level
  • Have a strong legal background and working knowledge of the law
  • Be proactive and tenacious in work
  • Be a team player
  • Be incredibly organised
  • Have fantastic written and spoken communication skills
  • Be flexible and confident
