An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary / PA to join a well-established law firm based in Warrington. Whether you're looking for full-time hours or a part-time arrangement, we’re open to flexible working patterns for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage legal correspondence, documents and court papers
  • Audio and copy typing of legal documentation to a high standard
  • Liaise proactively with clients, handling queries and passing on messages
  • Maintain filing systems and prepare indexes and bundles (including e-bundles)
  • Support with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning and document collation

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in Personal Injury is desirable, but full training will be provided for candidates with relevant transferable skills
  • Familiarity with legal software (ideally Proclaim) is an advantage
  • Strong spelling, punctuation and grammar skills
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • High standards of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Flexible, proactive and able to adapt to changing demands
  • A polite, helpful manner and strong work ethic

Working Pattern & Benefits:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (or 4-day week considered)
  • 7.5 hours per day
  • 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing after 3 years of service
