Legal Secretary in Litigation
CJ Giles & Co are a well-established Solicitors firm in Wokingham. We have a permanent part time opportunity available for a Legal Secretary familiar with Litigation and Family work. A degree of flexibility is required but it is anticipated that you will need to work the equivalent of two days per week.
This job entails:
The use of our Word based case management system, and Microsoft Office Outlook
Audio typing from digital dictation
Preparation and production of court documents
Maintaining and organising client files
Liaising with clients, third parties and colleagues
Managing a diary and a number of independent check lists
Reporting to the Litigation Manager
Occasional general admin support as part of a team.
The following skills are essential:-
Good typing and IT skills
Good telephone manner and communication
The ability to work to strict timescales
Good organisational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Absolute discretion for dealing with confidential information
