Legal Secretary - Immigration Department
My client, a well-established and growing law firm, are recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join their Immigration department in the Portsmouth office. They pride themselves in providing a professional approach in a friendly environment.
As a Legal Secretary working directly with a fee earner you will support them in all day to day activities to include typing of correspondence, liaising with clients, other firms and Courts, scanning of important documents and ensuring that all files are kept in order and compliant with Lexcel quality standards.
The Ideal Candidate
A Legal Secretary who is pro-active, has excellent client care skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and has the following:
- Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills
- High level of attention to details
- Fast, accurate typing ability
- IT literate - Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Good telephone manner
- Organisational skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week.
