Legal Secretary - Conveyancing
Prestigious law firm in Exeter are currently looking for a secretary to work in their Conveyancing Department.
You will have a high level of competency using Microsoft Word and diary management using outlook and have a sound background in a similar role.
Working closely with two fee earners the role is demanding and will require good organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, willingness to take initiative and to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will be confident and professional with a good telephone manner and a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm. Previous experience in legal sector is essential for this role.
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
• Audio typing of general correspondence
• Dealing with enquiries from clients and solicitors over the telephone and via email
• File management
• Word processing legal documents and amending/editing documents
• Providing support and assistance within the office
You will assist the fee earner with progressing residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. This is a rewarding and stimulating role, which offers competitive pay and benefits as well a great working environment.
