Legal Secretary - Commercial

Our client has a vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join their commercial team. The ideal candidate will have previous legal secretarial experience. You will need to be well organised and reliable with good audio/copy typing skills.

The role:

  • Carrying out a secretarial role to support Fee Earners in the Commercial team.

  • Assisting with a broad variety of administrative tasks, from audio typing to filing confidential client correspondence.

  • Having direct client contact, via telephone, email and face to face.

  • Ensuring departmental systems and firm-wide procedures are followed.

Skills Required:

  • Strong secretarial skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines

  • Willingness to work well as part of a busy, friendly team

  • Have an excellent telephone manner

  • Experience as a legal secretary within one or more of the legal areas required is preferred.
