We are an established firm of solicitors based in Cobham who are looking to recruit a full time Legal Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to the commercial property department. You will supporting one fee earner predominantly but will also provide support to other fee earners within the property department in the absence of other secretaries.
We are a firm of specialist solicitors covering the South East and London and we work with FTSE companies as well as smaller private companies. We employ over 100 people across our offices and our firm is accredited by Lexcel.
Working Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm with a salary on offer of up to £30k DOE and other company benefits.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing firm who cover a broad range of legal services. The Legal Secretary requires someone with previous experience working within the property department of a legal firm.
Candidates who have recently completed a LPC or Law Degree and have some exposure in a firm will also be considered. You will need to have an interest in working within commercial property law and some working experience in this field.

Responsibilities of the Legal Secretary;
- Audio and copy typing, diary management, preparation and submission of searches, dealing with telephone calls and those visiting the office, updating case management systems and documentation production, co-ordination of appointments and diary management.
- Being responsible for some more detailed legal tasks above that of a secretary.
- The post will also require some menial tasks such as preparation of meeting rooms before and after meetings, proving refreshments and preparing post for despatch.
Candidates from secretarial, legal, property and law backgrounds will be suitable. Law Graduates or LPC qualified candidates with very little experience as well as experienced legal secretaries are encouraged to apply.
