Location: Manchester (Flexible / Remote Working Available)

Salary: £95,000 per annum + Bonuses OTE (£140,000) + Benefits & Share Options

Acorn by Synergie, on behalf of our client, has a unique opportunity for a Legal Recruitment Director to join their team in a brand-new role. You'll play a pivotal part in driving the growth of a new legal recruitment division. This high-impact role demands a strategic mindset, business development expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.

The Role

As Legal Recruitment Director, you will be responsible for establishing and growing a new legal recruitment division within the organisation. This role offers a blend of hands-on recruitment leadership and strategic business development, including:

  • Developing and implementing a business plan to expand the legal recruitment brand.
  • Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of legal recruitment consultants.
  • Driving new business opportunities through existing and new client relationships in the legal sector.
  • Overseeing both temporary and permanent recruitment desks, ensuring smooth operations and growth.
  • Managing the P&L for the division to ensure profitability and business success.
  • Sitting on the Board of Directors and playing an influential role in shaping company strategy.

What Our Client Is Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • REC qualification or significant experience at Director level within legal recruitment.
  • Proven success in leading and scaling recruitment teams, ideally in the legal sector.
  • A strong network and client relationships within the legal industry.
  • Experience managing both temporary and permanent desks in recruitment.
  • Excellent business development skills with the ability to open doors and drive growth.
  • A hands-on, strategic leader who can balance both team management and business operations.
