With a clear strategy for the future, a new role has been created for a 2:1/1st class graduate with a PRINCE 2, APMP or Six Sigma qualification to undertake a Legal Project Manager role. With a remit to deliver innovative models to resolve complex legal challenges faced by clients, a varied brief includes:

•Working alongside clients, partners, lawyers & business support staff to manage the delivery of legal services including legal matters, internal projects & initiatives to drive efficiency & profitability
•Development of the scope of legal service within Head Office
•Supporting senior stakeholders on key client pitches through high-level scoping, scheduling, resourcing & pricing
•Working in consultation with clients, legal teams & support services on detailed matter plans
•Arranging kick-off meetings & ongoing regular communication to promote common understanding & buy-in to legal objectives & matter approach
•Tracking progress against matter plans, variances & developing contingency plans
•Arranging post-closing matter reviews & lessons learned exercise
•Supporting the implementation of a range of initiatives to improve efficiency & profitability

As an experienced Project Manager with 2-4 years relevant experience, ideally gained within the Professional Services or Consultancy sector, you will demonstrate exposure to the whole project lifecycle, scoping, scheduling, costing, resourcing, communications, quality and risk. The role demands excellent client-facing skills, a track record of establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders and hands on Excel, PowerPoint & MS Project skills.
