Role Focus Overview

A key executive that holds the responsibility of managing the compliance legal agenda for the Templeton Group This is a stand alone role rather than a people management role

The LC Manager will be the organisations key executive to ensure the business is protected and is able to trade compliantly across all jurisdictions it chooses to practice business

These will include the EMEA APAC Americas As a consequence the delivery of contractor engagements will need to meet local jurisdictional legal compliance and employer employee requirements ensuring that if a client were to audit its sub-contractor population any contractors supplied by Templeton would be legitimately engaged and therefore pose no financial or legal risk to Templeton

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to

- Handle compliance with any incoming legislation such as IR35 GDPR WAB and AUG

- Read all incoming client Master Services Agreements and assess any risks and push back and negotiate terms

- To organise and provide necessary reviews on all client engagement contracts

- To ensure all engagements are time managed &ndash eg do not expire

- Handle all litigation matters with our various lawyers in each jurisdiction

- To drive the procurement engagement docusign process efficiently

- To support sales - compliance can often slow down deal making and it mustnt

- To provide leadership with the &ldquo risk&rdquo associated with each transaction acknowledging any financial legal impact

- To mitigate any direct indirect losses

- To ensure insurance policies adequately cover limited unlimited liabilities

- To ensure contractors have the necessary PI cover documentation in place

- To ensure RTW and in country equivalents including visa residence and passports are in place for each transaction

- To build out a monthly reporting pack that identifies the compliance across each business unit manager and to identify individual contractor compliance performance

This LC Manager will be a senior manager role in the organisations growing structure and will require

- Build robust trusted partnerships with sales team and sales leaders and other team members on the support side

- Build robust client relationships with procurement and buying stakeholders

- To drive the companies overarching values

- To be seen visibly as a &ldquo go to&rdquo senior leader that has answers solutions

- To develop the companies reporting and contractor call cycle logging on our systems
