I am working with an excellent solicitors firm who due to measurable and consistent growth require an additional cashier t join their well established and long standing finance team.
My client can offer a number of excellent benefits as well as a fun and friendly environment to work within.
I am keen to speak with candidates who have legal sector experience and have experience within a full 360 degree cashier role
- High volume posting of all accounting transactions
- Setting up of all new matters and and recording of time transactions
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting ( Management reports, bank reconciliations, balance reports, LAA and VAT reconciliations)
- Constant liaison with clients and auditors to resolve any associated queries
- Maintain internal control systems
- Management of any issues - escalating to managers here necessary
- Supporting towards month end processes
- Expenses processing
- Full understanding of SRA accounting rules
- Excellent communication skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast paced and varied role
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage own workload
- Positive and motivated attitude
- Previous experience in a varied legal accounts role
