They are now seeking a Legal Cashier to join their team in the Maidstone area on part time basis. A new opportunity for a Legal Cashier has arisen within a department in the Maidstone area. With previous experience within an accounts department in the legal framework, this is a hands on role suited to a motivated individual who has good attention to detail and good numeracy skills. You will undertake a wide range of duties to include: daily bank reconciliations; preparing and submitting VAT returns; managing purchase and nominal ledger; cash flow; year-end procedure; BACS; processing financial payments; handling petty cash and; billings.
The successful Legal Cashier will have gained an ILFM qualification or an AAT NVQ Level 2 qualification or its equivalent and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel. Demonstrating working knowledge of the SRA, you will communicate in a clear and concise manner. The role is offered on a part time, permanent basis.

You must be a legal Cashier with solid background within the legal framework;
ILFM qualification or an AAT NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification is highly desirable;
You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel;
You will be familiar with the Solicitors Accounts Rules;
You will have good attention to detail;
You will be able to handle a diverse caseload under minimum supervision;
You will be able to work well within a team and on own initiative;
You will be highly numerate.
