Barnsley Legal Cashier Role

The Duties:
*Daily banking functions including bank reconciliations.
*Administration and reconciliation of petty cash.
*Processing of client and office accounting transactions including postings.
*Preparation of cheques.
*Processing of bank transfers.
*Control of designated client deposit accounts.
*Credit control.
*Purchase ledger.
*Financial management reporting as required.
*Preparatory work for the annual accounts.
*Archive maintenance.
*Will & deed maintenance.
*Processing of legal services commission payments.
*New Client Set-ups.
*General Accounts advice and queries.
*Preparation of client invoices.

Desired Skills and Experience:
*Work experience in a solicitor/law environment

*Well established solicitor's firm
*Barnsley based

The Benefits:
*Salary of £20,000 - £22,000
