Legal Assistant - Mortgage Enforcement - Bristol
A leading law firm are keen to appoint a Legal Assistant / Case Handler to join their Mortgage Enforcement team in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a team who act from some of the biggest lenders in the UK.
You will be working with clients and their customers to help set up solutions on their accounts with an overall objective to improve the rehabilitation rates on accounts and preventing litigation.
To proactively work on behalf of the firm’s clients to rehabilitate customers accounts by contacting them at key stages throughout the litigation process. The overall objective will be to improve rehabilitation rates on customer accounts and ultimately reduce the number of cases going to litigation.
This role will take on more of an account management responsibility, working very closely with the customers to understand their financial responsibilities with a view to finding payment solutions on their accounts.
As the successful Legal Assistant / Case Handler you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Effective telephone communication skills with the ability to empathise and relate to the sometimes emotive conversations that take place with customers.
- Successfully build rapport with customers and negotiate affordable arrangements that will be maintained.
- The ideal candidate must be flexible, organised, able to prioritise work and have the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills are essential as is a strong attention to detail.
You do not need to have any legal qualifications to be considered for this opportunity.
