Legal Assistant for Fantastic Law Firm

A well established law firm based in Birmingham is seeking a talented Legal Assistant to support the wider team in ensuring a high level of client service. You will be integral in providing assistance to the Legal Advisors, covering secretarial absences and working on electronic files. This is a rare opportunity to secure a foot in the door within a reputable and renowned law firm with stunning offices in the city centre.

The role will primarily involve diary management, making travel arrangements for the legal advisors, preparation of expenses, opening and closing of client files, handling an array of correspondence via telephone and post, management of bills and reconciling of bank statements and varied liaison with clients over the phone and face to face. This is a busy, hands-on position which will require a strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritise effectively. The firm encourages a strong team working environment and consistent improvement in all areas.

The successful Legal Assistant will have good IT skills alongside an ability to organise and communicate at all levels. Ideally, you will have strong academics alongside a proactive and positive approach to your work. Preferably you will have prior legal or professional services experience behind you.
