An attractive Legal Adviser job in Leasehold Enfranchisement with a non-departmental public body in London.
Your new company
This arm's-length Governmental body in London, set up to provide advice to the public regarding residential leasehold and park homes law, is currently looking for four Legal Advisers to join an a 12-month fixed term contract following special instructions from the Government.
Your new role
You will respond to requests for advice by telephone, letter, email, and face to face. You will provide advice both verbally and in writing, setting out the client's legal position and the available courses of action within statute and common law. You will advise in seminars with groups of customers, either in the office or on on-site visits. You will provide training in legislation and practice as part of the organisation's commercial learning and development programme. You will research law and practice, and specialist areas as required. You will draft input to reports produced by the organisation, including submissions and responses to the Government. You will also attend meetings, seminars, courses and conferences as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you should be a qualified or foreign-qualified solicitor, with prior experience of lease enfranchisement. To be successful in this role, you must be able to meet daily KPIs and work in a demanding and pressurised environment. The ability to write accurately and succinctly is a must. Previous experience in a telephone or advisory environment, as well as business development skills are highly desirable.
