Job Title: Legal Administrator (Temp)

Department: Investigation and Litigation Department

Reports To : Investigation and Litigation Department Manager

Hours: Full time (09.00 - 18.00)

As a leader in the U.S. debt buying industry and they return capital to banks and other creditors that helps expand financial services for consumers. The company also provides a broad range of fee-based services to local governments and law enforcement, auto lenders and insurers, businesses and institutional investors, global hedge funds, and banks and creditors.

Main Purpose of Job :

  • Inputting I&E from financial statement and setting arrangements
  • Logging information from the admission and inputting I&E and setting arrangements
  • Scanning all incoming post
  • Requesting documents from vendors (via vendor support)
  • Tracking, when documents are received or chasing for missing documentation
  • Dealing with post/filing/faxes/photocopying/printing
  • Accurately recording information onto the case management system
  • All other related administrative duties
  • Knowledge and understanding of office procedures
  • Be able to plan and organize both familiar and new tasks
  • Able to use a problem-solving approach to respond appropriately to a wide range of enquiries
  • Can produce and respond to detailed written and oral communication in an office setting
  • Can use standard applications to process, obtain and combine information - Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, mail merge, and databases
  • Working Knowledge of of the Civil Litigation process and procedure is desirable
  • The ability to understand Statements of Case, Defences Court Orders
  • Working knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act and Debt Recovery is desirable

  • Communicate with external stakeholders and Leal entities.
  • Tracking, when documents are received or chasing for missing documentation
  • Dealing with post/filing/faxes/photocopying/printing
  • Accurately recording information onto the case management system
  • Processing Admissions onto the case management system
  • All other related administrative duties

Professional Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Customer focused
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Have the ability to liaise with people throughout all levels of the organisation
  • Legal experience and or Debt Recovery experience
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong communication and organisational skills
  • Communicate appropriately with a range of audiences including peers, senior colleagues and specialists;
