Sessional Hours Available: approx. 12 hours per week, 35 weeks per year

Mondays and Wednesdays

Some Monday and Thursday evenings (Foundation Degree)

Hourly rates: Up to £23.30(unqualified teacher status) and Up to £34.19 (qualified teacher status)

Closing Date: 2nd Septemebr 2018

Eastleigh College is looking for a lecturer to teach on the Level 3 Early Years Diploma course and the Foundation Degree in Learning Support. This role will involve teaching during daytime hours as well as for one evening a week. The College’s care learning area offers programmes for both full time and part time students working across all areas of the health, social and childcare sectors and therefore experience across these areas would be an advantage.

Ideally, we are looking for a lecturer with an Early Years or Primary teaching background, with a degree and qualified teacher status.

The successful candidate will teach students in the age range 16-19 at Level 3 as well as adult learners at Foundation Degree level. This role will require excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with a strong commitment to develop the potential of all learners.
