Leasehold Services Manager Part-Time

MMP Consultancy are working with a Housing Provider based in London to recruit a Leasehold Service Manager to work on a temporary contract.

PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION (18 HOURS PER WEEK)

You will be responsible for the direct management of Leasehold Services Team and a Right to Buy Officer. Taking responsibility for ensuring the team delivers an effective service. Complying with all statutory requirements, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Support the Head of Income Management and other Leasehold Manager in all aspect of Leasehold Services, Home Ownership and staffing issues.
Preparing an annual action plan that incorporates team objectives and monitoring and reporting team's performance against targets.
Ensuring that arrangements are in place to bill leaseholders in a timely and lawful manner for service charges and major works (including Section 20 consultations are undertaken as necessary.
Responsible for managing cases and representing the organisation at the Property Tier tribunal in relation to service charge disputes or any other leaseholder matter.
Ensure all RTB applications, freehold, garden, loft sales and variation of lease application are dealt with in line with statutory deadlines and regulations and in the interest of the local Council.

Skills Required:

Demonstrable experience in project budgetary control, managing/supervising staff
Relevant experience of working in a housing discipline
Experience of delivering presentations to customers and service users.
Knowledge of Housing Management and related issue, working knowledge of current Leasehold Reform, Housing Acts and Legislation
Knowledge of major works procedures as related to leaseholders.
