Leasehold Development Officer

A 12-month opportunity has arisen in the Leaseholders Services team as a Leasehold Development Officer.

The role involves carrying out informal and statutory consultation with leaseholders for major works, preparing notices and estimates, billing for the works and dealing with all associated enquiries both pre and post works.

The officer will give priority to providing support to the Fire Safety Team by working closely with our Resident Liaison Officers and Project Managers to deal with any access issues (including enforcement) relating to Category 1 programmed works (Fire stopping works). They will also work closely with Adult Social Services and our Voids and Lettings team.

Improving leaseholder satisfaction is one of the clients key aims and objectives, so the successful applicants will have excellent customer care skills, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be adept at solving problems and making decisions. You must also have a good knowledge of current leasehold issues and legislation. Excel spreadsheet, mail-merging, database and general Microsoft programme experience and knowledge are also essential.
The ability to work closely with the project team, repairs team and neighbourhood team to ensure that the best possible communications with, and outcomes, for leaseholders is achieved, is critical.
