Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an experienced learning support assistant looking for your next role in a EBD provision?

Tradewind recruitment is currently looking for a diverse, ambition learning support assistant to join a prominent specialist behaviour unit in Manchester to start asap. This is a full time temporary role to work flexibly over 4 sites across central Manchester.

The federation of EBD provisions promotes an academic and inspirational environment where innovative and creative learning is encouraged, and aspirations are raised, making it an exciting place to work and study in. The provision has high standards and aims to give the same standard of education to pupils as they would in mainstream. They work closely with mainstream sister schools to encourage a positive transition for pupils to return to mainstream.

We are looking for:
*The federation are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work holistically and creatively with 11 - 16 year olds who are unable to attend mainstream education
*A collaborative and driven individual who will support and take lead on intervention sessions
*Experience working with pupils or adults with Severe Learning Difficulties, behavioural difficulties, ADHD or Autism.
*Have Team Teach qualification or will to under take training
*Be comfortable supporting or working with students with behavioural difficulties

The role will entail working 1:1 or in small groups with students with behavioural difficulties. You will be asked to hold small group or 1:1 intervention for students, all work will be planned and differentiated.

The provisions are easily accessible with free parking on site with local bus links from city centre every 20 minutes.

*Equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
