Learning Support Assistant

Learning Support Assistant wanted to work with secondary aged students in local Alternative Provision. You will be working closely with small groups of students in a classroom setting, providing academic and social supports to students who have faced barriers to learning. You will be a cheerful and confident Learning Support Assistant who will go the extra mile to ensure that students are given the full support that they require. This PRU has an excellent senior leadership team, and complete support plans in place for the students. You will be part of a culture that ensure the needs of the children are put first, and this is demonstrated the success that they have had.

You will be:-

-          Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor or Learning Support Assistant

-          Able to demonstrate a minimum of six months working at school level

-          Happy to work in a PRU

-          Used to being creative, innovative and fun in the classroom

-          Happy to work with children and young adults with barriers to learning

-          Looking for a rewarding career in an SEND setting
