Learning Support Assistant | Leicester | Temporary Position

School
Are you currently looking for work as a support staff in local schools? Leicester based schools are looking for a dedicated learning support assistant who has previous experience working with primary and/or secondary aged pupils. The role will start on a temporary basis on an on-going contract.

Position
For this Learning Support Assistant job you will be supporting identified pupils requiring additional support. You will support the pupil to access the curriculum and engage in lessons and activities. You may also be supporting a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder and provide sensory support sessions through the day when necessary.

Requirements
Ideally you will have a level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning as well as recent and relevant experience in a similar role. You must be passionate about supporting the needs of children and be confident in working with children. Any experience is Special Needs is desirable.
