Academics Ltd. is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant in the SEN (Special Educational Needs) Unit at a secondary school in Swindon. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join their welcoming team, contributing to enhancing the learning experience of students with special educational needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, your ability to communicate effectively and break down complex ideas will be crucial in ensuring that students understand and engage with their lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver creative, engaging lessons in the SEN unit as a Learning Support Assistant.

  • Provide individual and group support to students, helping them overcome academic and personal challenges as a Learning Support Assistant.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported with the help of a Learning Support Assistant.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts in an accessible and clear way as a Learning Support Assistant.

  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong rapport with students, especially those with special educational needs, as a Learning Support Assistant.
