Part-time 18 hours per week over 39 weeks per year
Due to continued growth of the SEND provision offered within Leeds City College we are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work 3 days from 5-6 hours per day, 39 weeks per year across our central Leeds campuses. You should have knowledge of SEND and Preparation for Adulthood.
The post holder will support students with SEND in their learning both in and out of the classroom. You would identify strategies to promote independence and ensure the information on progress is recorded accurately. It is essential that you want to work with young people whom have learning difficulties and/or disabilities and support them to be the best they can and achieve their aspirations. I
