Royal Mail PFS are looking for a Learning and Engagement Manager (maternity cover Fixed Term Contract).

The purpose of the Learning and Engagement Manager role is to provide tailored, innovative, appropriate and cost-effective talent management and learning and development programmes across the PFS business.

About the role

Working alongside a fellow Learning and Engagement Manager, you’ll be responsible for the design and delivery of the following programmes:

•    Talent Programmes, including Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Talent programme design, delivery and evaluation

•    Ad-hoc training requirements, both anticipating and responding to business requirements and providing in-house solutions

•    Design, delivery, updating and evaluating core training programmes

•    Support with design of appropriate e-learning programmes

•    Engagement programmes, including Big Conversation events and e-engagement activities

Accountable for ensuring that the company-wide employee engagement programmes are designed and implemented, looking at both face-to-face and electronic engagement opportunities, you’ll be responsible for analysis of our Employee Opinion Survey, interfacing with Royal Mail Group whilst designing, delivering and analyses of engagement activities. 

Leading and co-ordinating external accreditations, including ILM and the management of the Investors in People re-accreditation process, will be key to the role.

You’ll manage our Apprenticeship scheme leading the programme whilst working with external suppliers.

The role is a Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months.

About you

CIPD qualified (or equivalent) you’ll have significant experience of designing and delivering leadership development programmes within externally accredited frameworks (ILM, CMI etc.).

Possessing excellent relationship building skills at all levels, with the ability to influence key stakeholders, you’ll have detailed knowledge of event management being able to project manage key events.

Experience of designing and delivering ad-hoc training courses and programmes, to support organisational requirements, is required.

With strong coaching skills, and the ability to support individuals in improving performance, you’ll be confident in delivering training and presenting to a senior level.

Occasional travel is required so a full UK driving licence is desirable.
