The Role is to equip all team members with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to do their job successfully through organised on the job training, support.
We are looking for a self-starter who can manage a varied workload and isn’t scared of getting stuck in. The role will have big focus on ensuring that the Ivy Collection standards are maintained at all times, ensuring all staff are fully briefed on their responsibilities and given constant supervision and motivation on all aspects of their work. You will assess, evaluate and review training and implement improvement where necessary.
Your role will be to encourage team morale and performance with a view to improving competiveness of the business, evaluate the learners progress and provide professional guidance / feedback to the management team when required.
This role will also be responsible for delivering the induction process and to audit all training processes to ensure it’s happening but focus on changing culture rather than adding process. You will also be required to run supervisory level training sessions and to coordinate the departmental training in the restaurants.
You will be based in the West Country, but will be required to travel across the UK as required.
This is an extremely busy role so the ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to plan their time and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be a natural people person who will enjoy driving the development of others.
