This newly created role for the London office of a US firm requires a Learning & Development Manager to provide strategic direction and implementation for attorney professional development and training.
This position is highly visible within the firm and is responsible for a broad portfolio. It is charged with primary oversight and administration of new attorney orientation and integration, the associate review process, attorney training and development programmes, including administration of CPD and attorney admissions status as well as assisting with practice areas-specific training, and working with the team on the advancement of initiatives in the areas of diversity, attorney mentoring and morale, and alumni engagement.
The position has 2 direct reports.
The successful candidate will have significant management experience in a law firm with strategic professional development experience. Previous experience as a solicitor would be advantageous.
