Yorkshire Water are looking for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join the team on a 12-month FTC. We are offering a salary up to £26,000 (dependent on experience + pension + quarterly performance related bonus + 25 days annual leave
What will the role involve?
The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator will provide day to day Learning and Development coordination, support, delivery, analysis and evaluation across a wide range of Learning and Development activities.
You will support the L&D team to effectively consult and engage with the wider business to create awareness of the services we have to offer. With your aptitude for data analysis and regular evaluation of customer needs, you will help the team deliver effective learning and development solutions that meet the need of the organisation and the individual.
With your flair for design and enthusiasm for delivery, you will support the team to regularly review the content of our bespoke development programmes so that it is always fit for purpose. You will take responsibility for the delivery of training to new and existing Kelda employees (e.g Corporate Inaction to new starters) and regularly update content so that it reflects current company standards.
A key part of your role will be to proactively manage multiple relationships with external Training Partners, always ensuring that Key Performance Indicators are being met. You will be comfortable with challenging any under-performance and using data to identify any trends before they become an issue. In addition, you will coordinate, manage and maintain learning and development governance activities - including operational training forums, internal delivery schedule, L&D Request process.
You will coordinate and manage the Kelda mentoring programme. Other on-going projects that will require your input and support include the Graduate Development Programme the company's Learning Management System.
On a day to day basis your other tasks will include coordinating and maintaining the learning and development communication plan, leading the cascade of information to key stakeholders and across the business using a range of methods. You will also support the team by processing invoices in a timely manner so that our budget tracker is up to date. You will also maintain excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders so that queries are answered/resolved in a timely manner.
What skills we are looking for?
It is essential that the successful candidate has experience working within HR (L&D) team in an administration role. You will be able to plan and organise work in a clear, methodical and effective manner. A passion for L&D is a must as you will be facilitating and delivering training to the wider business.
You will have excellent IT skills, including MS Office packages and an appetite to learn business specific IT systems and processes, including the company learning management system.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills - both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders
It would be desirable but not essential for this person to have an understanding of E-Learning and a HR qualification (CIPD).
