Job Description

Housing Solutions are currently looking for a Learning & Development Advisor to join our team on a full time permanent basis in Maidenhead. This is an exciting role in a medium sized organisation where you will see the difference that your contribution brings.

Key Responsibilities

You will be working with the Head of HR in identifying L&D needs throughout the organisation and developing our L&D plan each year. You will take ownership for the successful delivery of the plan, which will involve sourcing external training as well as designing and delivering your own training courses where needed. You will also be expected to manage the administration of the L&D process, including booking training, updating employee L&D records and coordinating training evaluation. You will be an ambassador for career development programmes such as apprenticeships, placements and work experience, and lead on the recruitment of apprentices throughout the organisation. You will be partnering with managers and employees at all levels and will play a key role in planning successful inductions for our new team members.

Key Requirements

Applicants must have strong organisation and administration skills. Clear communication and presenting skills are essential, as is the ability to build rapport and trust quickly with your customers. Previous experience of creating and/or delivering training would be advantageous.
