Learning & Development Advisor

Our client, based in Birmingham, a private sector leader providing services across 176 locations within the UK, is recruiting for a Learning & Develpment Advisor on a part-time and permanent basis. The working hours for the post are 22.5 hours over three days and the client is looking to interview as soon as possible. The salary for this position is up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience, and comes with a competitive benefits package.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

* Supporting the Learning & Development team in the delivery of initiatives and sector specific obligations

* Responsible for delivering on Traineeships and Apprenticeships, including managing early career development initiatives and ensuring the business gains maximum benefit from the Apprenticeship Levy

* Leading on the recruitment, coordination and organization of Apprenticeship/Trainee placements across the business, including providing support to apprentices, trainees and graduates, whilst monitoring overall performance to facilitate succession planning

* Representing the business as Apprenticeship Lead when liaising with external training bodies and attending external forums

* Managing business management development programmes, alongside redesigning and managing the internal performance development review process

* Supporting departmental projects, including IiP Accreditation, leading the development of an ILM Management Development programmes

* Analysing and producing action plans to facilitate learning needs highlighted as part of the PDP process, including collaborating with stakeholders to deliver initiatives in line with business need

* Liaising with and briefing external course providers, monitoring performance and overseeing the training request approval process, including sponsorship applications
