Learning & Development Advisor - Cheltenham town centre
Salary: £25,000k-£30,000k
Mon-Fri - 8.30am-5.30pm

My client is looking for a Learning & Development Advisor to join the HR & Training Team based in their offices in Central Cheltenham.

Reporting to the HR & Training Manager, the role will be responsible for training and coaching individuals to improve their knowledge, skills and performance. A small element of your role will also be to support in recruitment activities such as assessment centres, scheduling interviews and candidate management.

Skills Required
  • Experience in training groups and individuals on specialised subjects
  • First class sales, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire
  • Confident presenting to individuals and groups
  • Exceptional coaching skills and an advocate of the GROW model
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage own workload, effectively delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Previous experience in designing and delivering specialised training sessions
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise based on fast paced business requirements

Desirable Skills

  • Financial services experience
  • Contact centre experience
  • Recruitment Experience

Principal Duties

  • To train, coach, mentor and develop the sales and support staff teams to higher levels of performance whilst ensuring the Mission and Vision are evidenced
  • Conduct onboarding training for new to group staff
  • Collate and manage onboarding staff documentation and training files
  • To be an expert on sales techniques and customer service and act as a focal point for advice and support in these areas
  • To report back to the management team on the progression and development of all team members
  • To ensure relationships with clients, insurers and our partners are enhanced through your professionalism
  • Collate and maintain all training documentation
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of all training resources, including ensuring all materials are up to date
  • Ad-Hoc support of the recruitment process
