Learning Design Manager
Up to £60K plus company benefits
Our clients is looking for a Learning Design Manager to lead our team of Learning Designers and work with a portfolio of Blue Chip customers to produce amazing digital learning experiences.
What we are looking for:
You will need to have at least 5 years’ experience working at a senior level in an Instructional/Learning Design team with a proven track-record of designing sophisticated learning content and producing sales treatments for proposals in a wide range of industry sectors.
You will have a deep understanding of what it takes to create quality learning solutions combining a broad knowledge of learning theory and an experience-based, consultative approach. You will work on a wide range of Projects, including systems/simulations, compliance training and soft skills training. Video production experience would be highly beneficial - especially script writing. You will have a strong understanding of learning technologies - especially the capabilities of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Gomo.
You will have excellent writing skills with the ability to convey complex ideas succinctly using a mix of media, including animation and video. You will also be a self-starter with initiative, who understands the knowledge transfer process and has years of experience influencing and engaging with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
You will preferably have experience leading and mentoring a team of Learning Designers and of working alongside developers and designers to deliver the vision in a collaborative way.
You will have responsibility for:
- Leading the team of Learning Designers
- The quality of Learning Design outputs
- Sales treatments and proposals - including attending sales presentations
- Hands-on production of learning content designs, outcomes, objectives, outlines and storyboards.
