We have a vacancy for a Learning Coach who will specialise in teaching functional English and maths. As a Learning Coach working for Total People you will be responsible for the achievement of Maths and English functional skills to level 2 for a caseload of learners. We deliver structured programmes online and face to face and bespoke 1-2-1 experiences all dependent on what is needed to ensure success.This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. Due to the nature of this post you must be willing to travel to various locations however this post is predominantly based in Northamptonshire.At Total People we are committed to making a difference and we need motivated and passionate colleagues who can make it happen. The successful applicant must be flexible, confident and an excellent communicator.Key Purpose To deliver Maths and English functional skills to level 2 in line with customer requirements, and pre-determined targets, to a caseload of learners. To ensure that all learners experience a high-quality learning programme in terms of content, structure and learning support. To deliver constantly good or better learning outcomes and progress by employing an effective variety of learning methods, skills development, coaching and mentoring with a self-motivated and proactive approach.Key Responsibilities include:Manage and maintain a caseload of learners and carry out regular maths and English interventions, along with other non-vocational aspects of the apprenticeship, including welfare and pastoral support as agreed with your line managerTo understand and agree with employers, learners and Learning Coach each learner's starting point and skills development needsUsing Total People's English & Maths delivery process, to agree a training plan with each learner and employer that meets those needsTo manage the delivery of the Maths and English training in line with the plan and in particular:Regularly and thoroughly review progress against all aspects of the plan with the learner and their managerTake prompt action where the learner falls behindEnsure that the learner is accessing and benefiting from delivery that you are not personally undertaking (for example, BKSB)Facilitate regular caseload reviews of learner's progress with the respective Learning Coaches.To ensure that learners are healthy, safe and supported at workTo work in accordance Total People's systems, in particular our enrolment and e-portfolio systemsTo ensure all reporting activity and administration reports are owned, managed and delivered on timeEnsure evidence for learning, achievement, funding and Ofsted is captured effectively and timelyBenefits:Fully flexible working pattern- responsibility for planning your own diaryCompetitive SalaryAll equipment is provided to complete the roleBlended delivery model which includes working from home, centres and face to face on site visitsGenerous annual leave entitlementDevelopment opportunities through our own in-house programmes and recognised qualificationsTotal People is one of the largest providers of apprenticeships and work-based learning in the northwest.
