Applications are invited for the post of Learning and Technology Advisor in Academic Services.
The Learning and Technology Advisor plays a key role in the E-Learning Team by supporting e-learning service users; assisting in the development of e-learning services and delivery of projects; and raising the profile of e-learning services and best practice.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of, or capacity in, the following areas:
·providing expert advice to users of Virtual Learning Environments, and other learning technologies
·contributing to the development of learning technology training materials
·evaluating and testing new or upgraded learning technologies
·working independently, and in multi-expertise teams, while prioritising work appropriately
·communicating complex ideas and explanations clearly and concisely to a range of service users
Experience of working in a learning technology support environment in Higher Education is desirable.
