Learning and Development Business Partner

Our South West based client, who is a UK leader in their field and employs over 11,000 people, is looking for a Learning and Development Business Partner on an interim basis, for six months initially. The working hours for the post are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and the salary is negotiable dependent upon experience and performance at interview.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

* Supporting, managing and delivering bespoke management development plans to over 40 Line Managers across your business area
* Designing and delivering behavioural development to meet and assist your assigned business area requirements
* Ensuring completion of action plans by observing action points and managing all behavioural development activity across your business area
* Providing coaching and mentoring to managers to develop their behavioural skills, enabling them to effectively manage their teams
* Delivering and supporting second in command development plans within area of responsibility
* Conducting Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) and providing feedback, as required
* Managing and tracking compliance training in the business area; ensuring managers are attending and completing within expected timelines
* Delivering development assessment centres and creating and supporting apprentice and graduate development plans

* Conducting TNA to identify development requirements and support succession planning and talent spotting within the business area

* Managing, assisting and completing projects in line with the HR & Development team strategies as required

* Providing timely and effective advice for development needs and attending team meetings to communicate development activity with customers

The successful candidate will have proven experience of supporting and coaching behavioural skills with high performers, low performers and for management
