Lead Test Analyst - London - Permanent

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Test Analyst to join our client based in London.

As Lead Test Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Pro-actively drive the development of the effective test processes for emerging pilot stage technology platforms
  • Creation of test strategies and plans to enable thorough test coverage of systems
  • Build repeatable test scenarios that can be used for regression testing
  • Oversee deployments and management of the test environment
  • Create and harvest suitable test data
  • Provide team leadership for other test resources in a small team as the project grows
  • Ensuring that test evidence is appropriately recorded to validate the tests executed
  • Thoroughly and accurately follow manual test procedures, accurately recording test evidence
  • Where appropriate develop automated tools and utilities to improve speed of repeated test tasks as the project scales in a number of sites

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years experience working in a complex data processing environment, with at least 3+ years experience of test leadership, strategy and process definition and execution
  • Extensive experience of developing and utilizing automated test tools
  • Experience in testing Data Warehouses and ETL Procedures:
  • Proven experience with JavaScript and/or Java
  • Hands on experience with at least one RDBMS (Oracle preferred)
  • Able to read and update UML and ERD diagrams
  • Test experience with both functional and non-functional requirements e.g. performance, quality, security etc.
